Outdoor furniture in Dubai is a durability decision before it is a decorating one. Whatever you buy gets used hard from November to March, then sits through seven months of heat - so the material matters more than the look.

On materials, honestly. Most of this range is natural rattan and solid teak. Rattan is the right choice for a shaded terrace or a covered balcony, where it will last for years. Teak handles direct sun if it is oiled, and silvers if it is not - a colour change rather than damage. We do not stock synthetic rattan: it survives anything, and you can feel that it is plastic the moment you sit on it in shorts.

So if your balcony faces west with no cover at all, choose teak. If you have shade, rattan will reward you.

Sizing. Leave 75 to 90 cm of clear space around the furniture, measured to the railing or wall. A terrace furnished tighter than that feels smaller than it did empty.
