Sophia is our take on the kind of outdoor sofa that actually survives Dubai. Not just looks nice in photos, but still looks right after two summers on your balcony.

She's built from solid teak - the same wood that ends up on luxury yacht decks and 100-year-old villa terraces. Teak has natural oils that keep it going through UV, humidity, and salt air without splitting or warping. Which matters here. A lot.

The cushions are foam-filled and shaped for actual sitting, not just show. Deep enough that you don't sink through, firm enough that you don't sink in. Covers are removable - bring them inside during the worst summer months or if a sandstorm's coming, and Sophia will happily wait out there without them.

The frame is hand-joined. Every leg, every join, done by real hands, not glued flat-pack. This is what stops a sofa from wobbling after a year outside. The natural knots and grain in the teak mean every Sophia is a bit different - that's part of the point.

Fair note on teak: over the first months of outdoor use, teak develops a silvery-grey patina. Some people love this natural weathered look. If you want to keep the warm honey colour, apply teak oil twice a year. Either way, the wood underneath stays strong.
