Honolulu Cream Box With Shell-M

Honolulu is a small handmade storage box wrapped in cream fabric and edged with real shells. Somewhere between a jewellery box and a piece of coastal decor. She sits nicely on a dressing table, a bathroom shelf, a bedside table, or anywhere you need a small pretty container for small pretty things.

About the size.

Medium sits at approximately 19 cm across and 16.5 cm tall - big enough to hold jewellery, small accessories, hair pins, or watch straps, but not so big that she takes over the surface she's on. A Small and Large size are also available if this isn't quite right.

About the materials.

The base is a firm cotton-covered structure, wrapped and hand-stitched. The cream fabric is soft to the touch but stable enough to hold shape. The shells around the seams are real (not plastic), each one attached by hand - small variations in size and colour are natural.

The interior is unlined but clean cotton - fine for jewellery, accessories, and small items that won't stain the fabric.

Where it works.

Bedroom dressing tables. Bathroom shelves for cotton pads or small jewellery. Bedside tables. Coffee table styling for a coastal-boho look. Also makes a beautiful gift-wrap alternative for small presents - the box itself becomes part of the present.

Honest note.

She's a decorative box first, storage box second. The lid isn't hinged - it lifts off, which is fine for occasional use but not ideal if you want to grab things quickly from it every day. And because the shells are real, one might come loose over time. If that happens, a small drop of clear glue puts it right.
