Basket with Shell Large

A handmade woven basket with a decorative shell trim around the top edge. Practical enough for storage, pretty enough to leave on display. She fits into a coastal-boho aesthetic without trying too hard, and works equally well as functional storage or as a decorative accent on its own.

About the size.

25 cm diameter, 18 cm tall - a medium-large basket suitable for holding rolled-up throws, magazines, small toys, plants (with a plastic liner), or bathroom essentials. Not oversized, but big enough to be useful.

About the material.

Hand-woven from natural fibres in warm tan and cream tones. The shell trim around the rim is real shells, individually attached. Small variations in the weave and shell placement are natural and part of the handmade finish.

Where it works.

Living rooms for throw storage. Bedrooms for laundry or accessories. Bathrooms for towel storage. Hallways for shoes or small items. Also works empty as a decorative accent on a shelf or floor.

Honest note.

The shell trim is decorative rather than heavy-duty. Handle the basket gently and avoid overloading - the weight should sit at the base, not press against the trim. If a shell comes loose over time, a small drop of clear glue will hold it in place.

Care.

Dust gently with a soft brush. Spot-clean with a damp cloth if needed. Avoid soaking the basket.
